Evans & Langford LLP require an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to manage a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful applicant will have extensive design experience across all materials, on new-build and refurbishment projects, and should be familiar with a wide range of current design software; however, they are likely to have progressed to a design management role, supervising and reviewing the work of younger engineers, and managing projects from inception to completion, including financially. They will represent the company at client and project meetings and must be confident and assured in doing so.
Experience of structural investigations and the remediation of building defects would be beneficial.
Initially we envisage an appointment as Associate Designate, with progression to full Associate in the short term, subject to successful performance review after three months. There is an opportunity for further progression within the company.
As noted above, applicants must be chartered engineers, either as members of the Institution of Structural Engineers, or the Institution of Civil Engineers, with appropriate structures-focussed experience.
Evans & Langford offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including pension, car allowance, discretionary bonus, and private healthcare.
